It is important for every counselee to understand that Satan is defeated in Christ, and that he is under the feet of each believer. That is why we can stand against him, and resist him. All of us will go through trials in our life, but the trial is to make me a better Christian not a bitter one. Unforgiveness gives the enemy a place in our life to bring destructive attitudes or actions into my life. God tells us in scripture that we are to forgive everyone.
