Rejoice Always by ted hough

In his continuation of Philippians 4, Ted Hough stops at chapter 4 verse 4 where we read "rejoice always." In our world that is a difficult. We experience loss, heartache, bitterness, worry and fear to name a few difficulties so how can I rejoice when life is sometimes painful? How can I be obedient to scripture?
